Terms of service

Effective July 20, 2026

FindThyme helps groups find a time to meet. It’s free, and these terms keep it fair for everyone. By creating an event, signing in, or responding to an invite, you agree to them. The service is provided by the operator named in the imprint.

Using FindThyme

• You need to give us accurate information — a made-up email means your sign-in links and confirmations can’t reach you.
• Anyone with an event link can join that event. Share links with the people you mean to invite.
• Don’t use FindThyme to do anything unlawful, to send spam, to harass people, or to probe, overload, or break the service. Only add participant emails of people who’d expect the invite.

Your content

Event details and responses you enter stay yours. You give us permission to store and process them just to run the service — showing your event to its participants, computing suggestions, and sending the related emails. How we handle personal data is covered by the privacy policy.

Calendar connections

Connecting a calendar is optional and read-only: we fetch free/busy times, never event details. You can disconnect at any time in settings, which deletes what we stored.

What you can expect from us

FindThyme is a free service, and we provide it as it is — we can’t promise it’s always available or free of mistakes, so don’t rely on it as your only record of an important appointment. We’re fully liable for intent, gross negligence, and harm to life, body, or health. For ordinary negligence we’re liable only if we breach an obligation the service depends on, and then only for foreseeable, typical damage. Mandatory liability under law (like product liability) stays untouched.

Ending things

You can delete your account in settings at any time. We can suspend or close accounts that break these terms, and we can change or discontinue the free service — with reasonable notice, so you can export your data first.

Changes and the law

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we’ll tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect. German law applies. If you’re a consumer, the mandatory protections of your home country stay with you. Questions? Write to hello@findthyme.app.
